Day
01 Arrive Bodhgaya
Arrival
at Gaya airport. Welcome and assistance at the airport then
drive to Bodhgaya Hotel. After lunch proceed for
visiting Mahabodhi Temple - The Bodhi tree, situated in
the premises of the temple, is the one under which Buddha
attained illumination. Visit to Sujata Village, Niranajana
River, and
80 feet Lord Buddha Statue & Various
monasteries. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in BodhGaya.
Day 02
Bodhgaya / Rajgir / Nalanda / Patna
Breakfast
at hotel. Morning, we will depart from hotel to historical
place in central Bihar, India, 80 km south-east of the state
capital Rajgir. Visit Gridhkuta Peak, at the top of
Ratnagiri hill, where Lord Buddha preached many inspiring
sermons, a Peace Pagoda has been built by the Buddha Sangh
of Japan.Tour continue visit to Bimbisara Prison. Lunch at
hotel or restaurant after lunch drive 12 kms (20 min drive)
to Nalanda visit the ruins of ancient university; The
site of Nalanda was one of the greatest monastic
universities of the ancient world University established in
5th century BC. It is believed that Lord Buddha and also the
founder of Jainism religion Lord Mahavir taught at this
university for years. There is even a monument to facilitate
Chinese traveler monk and writer Hiuen Tsang who studied at
this university in the 7th century A.D. Then drive to 90 kms
to Patna, Dinner & over night at Hotel in Patna.
Day 03
Patna / Kushinagar via Vaishali
Breakfast
at hotel. Early morning drive to Kushinagar (280kms,
07hrs). Enroute visit Vaishali.
Vaishali is believed to be the First Republic of The World,
Having an Elected Body of Representatives Hold Special
Significance for Buddhist Devotees. The Buddha Preached The
Radha Sutra To The Eighty Four Thousand Faithful Gathered
There. Lunch at restaurant further drive to Kushinagar -
This is the place where Buddha passed into Parinirvana and
was cremated. Visit Mahaparinirvana temple and Rambhar Stupa
where Lord Buddha was cremated. After visit, check-in at
hotel. Dinner and overnight at a Hotel in Kushinagar.
Day 04
Kushinagar / Lumbini (Nepal)
Breakfast
at hotel, Morning drive to Lumbini which is 175 kms away
from kushinagar (04 hrs drive).
(Kindly obtain double entry visa for India and single entry
visa for Nepal), On arrival at Lumbini transfer to
hotel. Lunch at hotel. After lunch vist to the Birth place
of Lord Buddha. Shakyamuni Buddha was born in Lumbini, in
southern Nepal, two thousand five hundred years ago. Since
his time, Nepal has been a sacred ground for Buddhist as the
birthplace of Buddha, Dinner & over night at hotel in
Lumbini.
Day
05 Lumbini (Nepal) / Varanasi
Breakfast
at Hotel. Morning drive
to Varanasi (08 – 10 hrs drive) Lunch at enroute
restaurant on arrival at Varanasi transfer to hotel. Dinner
& overnight stay at Hotel in Varanasi.
Day
06 Varanasi / Bodhgaya
Early
in the morning transfer to Holy River The
Ganges,
sightseeing the
wonderfull ghats,
enjoy the boat
ride. After
visit back to Hotel.After
breakfastdrive
to. Sarnath
(14 kms) where
Buddha preached his first sermon after he had attained
enlightenment at Bodhgaya. Next visit to Dhamekha Stupa, The
Dhamekha Stupa is the most remarkable and massive structure
at Sarnath. Built partly in stone and partly in brick, the
Dhamekha Stupa is 28 meter in diameter at the base and 43.6
meter in height. The stone facing the lower part is
decorated with delicate floral carvings of Gupta period and
visit Deer park.
After visit Back to Varanasi lunch will be at Hotel.
Later drive to Bodhgaya (250 Kms 04 hrs 30 Min drive).
Overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day
07 Bodhgaya / Onward destination
Breakfast
at hotel, timely departure transfer to the airport to
coonect flight for your onward destination.
